This segment also engages in gas storage operations; infrastructure investments; import, trade, and process or store green molecules comprising hydrogen, biomethane, and ammonia; procurement of coals; trading carbon dioxide certificates; and trading green certificates for the supply of green energy. The company was founded in 1894 and is headquartered in Düsseldorf, Germany. Uniper SE is a subsidiary of UBG Uniper Beteiligungsholding GmbH.
