It also supplies, installs, and maintains safety equipment and security systems; provides, installs, and maintains establishments, equipment, machinery, and devices, as well as supplies specialized technical manpower for works related to the electricity, water, oil, and environment sectors; undertakes contract works for laying and installation of pipes, and fine cutting works through using plasma and water; engages in sandblasting, paint and fixed, mobile scaffolds, and welding; provides galvanization works; acquires movables and real estate; and owns intellectual property rights comprising patents, trademarks, and franchise rights. In addition, the company engages in dredging, marine, and civil construction activities; shipyard, oil and gas construction, industrial maintenance, fabrication service, and onshore and offshore operations; electrical and mechanical works; diving and afloat/port repairs; and testing and calibration services. Heavy Engineering Industries and Shipbuilding Company K.S.C.P. was incorporated in 1974 and is headquartered in Kuwait City, Kuwait.
