Gulf Insurance Group K.S.C.P., together with its subsidiaries, provides insurance products and services to individuals and businesses in Kuwait, GCC countries, and rest of Middle East countries. The company operates in two segments, General Risk Insurance, and Life and Medical Insurance. The General Risk Insurance segment provides general insurance products comprising marine and aviation, motor vehicles, property, and engineering and general accidents insurance products. The Life and Medical Insurance segment offers savings, protection products, and other long-term contracts. This segment also provides whole life insurance, term insurance, unitized pensions, pure endowment pensions, group life and disability insurance, and credit life insurance, as well as group medical insurance products, such as third-party administration, preferred global health, and FAY products. In addition, the company offers takaful insurance and reinsurance products. Gulf Insurance Group K.S.C.P. was incorporated in 1962 and is based in Kuwait City, Kuwait. Gulf Insurance Group K.S.C.P. is a subsidiary of Fairfax (Barbados) International Corp.
