Director of Product Experience
As the Director of Product Experience, Matt Carstens co-leads amana’s transformation into a mobile-first trading and investing platform. He is responsible for the amana app product vision, what assets are available, and making decisions to enhance user experience. His primary focus is amana’s user persona and uncovering valuable solutions to user problems with his equally passionate product team.
As one half of the duo behind amana’s retail trading front-end (mobile), Matt delivers on our unique value proposition of bringing mobile-first zero-commission trading to the Middle East. He is currently developing a data-driven roadmap that will make the user experience even friendlier and more seamless.
Previously, he has successfully shipped award-winning digital products with globally distributed teams. His past experiences include Project Manager roles at TradeTech Group (now Finalto), ThinkForex, and EQLX, which he co-founded. He is also an accomplished salesman, having performed as Director of Sales at UrbanStats and Regional Sales Manager at GFT Markets (now GainCapital).
In his private life, Matt is a family man passionate about basketball and football. He also trades and invests and has scaled the crypto market’s heights (and lows).
