The company operates through Chemicals, Polymers, and Adhesives and Other Materials segments. It provides industrial chemicals, such as hydrochloric acid, ferric chloride, sulfuric acid, caustic soda, chlorine, sodium hypochlorite, etc. for use in various industries; rigid and semi-rigid polyurethane systems for manufacture of various density foams; and hot and cold melt adhesives for use in various industries. The company also offers water treatment chemicals, including boiler, cooling water, waste treatment plant, domestic water, reverse osmosis and desalination plant, cleaning, and hydrotest chemicals, as well as provides contract manufacturing services. In addition, it provides caustic soda flakes, sodium sulphate, and industrial chemicals and solvents. Further, the company purchases, formulates, processes, exports, imports, markets, distributes, and acts as an agent for the sale of chemicals. It serves paints and coatings; oil, gas, and petrochemicals; steel galvanizing; beverage manufacturers, dairy operators, and farmers; and commercial laundry sectors. Basic Chemical Industries Company was incorporated in 1973 and is headquartered in Dammam, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
