Chief Financial Officer
Mazen Yazbeck is the Chief Financial Officer at amana. He oversees all financial activities, including managing the production of monthly financial reports and summaries and developing growth projections. As part of his role spearheading financial administration functions, he also provides strategic assistance to amana's senior leadership on company-wide budgeting matters.
In addition to his duties as CFO, Mazen helms amana's Human Resources department and is a big proponent of management by objectives, collaboration and motivation. He streamlines the operations across both teams with a hands-on, people-first approach. Ultimately, he is dedicated to implementing cost- and time-optimization practices that improve amana's community from the inside out.
With an established, long-standing career in the financial sector, Mazen has amassed over two decades of experience working alongside some of the industry's most well-known institutions. Before joining amana, he took on management roles in the GCC investment banking industry for six years. During that time, he worked for leading regional banks in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. Prior to that, he was part of the Audit and Business Advisory teams at two of the Big Four, PwC and Deloitte, where he started his career in 1998.
Mazen is based in Beirut with his wife and two daughters. When he isn’t at the office, you can find him listening to 80s music or searching through his 2,500-book library; he is an avid reader and particularly fond of military history, politics, intelligence and psychology. He is also a huge fan of the SSC Napoli football club.
