Who’s Dave Floyd?
Dave Floyd is known to be a short-term swing trader, which means that he can be in and out of positions within a couple of days.
Dave began his career at Standard Chartered Bank and FMB Trading Group, where he gained valuable insights from both FX and equities trading desks. In 2002, he founded Aspen Trading Group with a vision to provide expert FX research and analytics to both institutional and retail clients worldwide.
In 2015, Dave led Aspen Trading Group to be recognized as one of the Top 10 Currency Managers of the year. The company continues to be one of the strongest technical analysis firms in the market. In 2023, Aspen Trading reported multi-millions in assets under management.
Dave has a BS in Economics from Northeastern University in Boston, and an Executive MBA from Oxford University. He is a regular contributor on Bloomberg, CNBC, Active Trader and Futures magazine.
